Mark Wormald - Guided Walks and UK Expeditions

Crib Goch, Snowdonia on a fine May day

This site is dedicated to getting people to explore some of the wild places of the Uplands of Great Britain

We have some fantastic places

      • Places for Climbing to the Summits
      • Places to Immerse Yourself in the Vastness of it all
      • Places with History
      • Places with Wildlife
      • Places with Character
      • Places for Photography
      • Places to just to Stand In Awe
      • Places to Challenge
      • Places to "Reboot" yourself

There are many environmentally friendly ways of enjoying these places, foot, bike, horseback & canoe! Please be inspired to get involved in such a manner as will leave them for future generations

There are lots of photos, some on the Gallery page others scatter through the site. Also there are some of my favourite walks for you to look at, together with pieces about the mountain regions and to help you find the low down on where to stay and how to travel

There is an Advice section that hopes to give a boost to your own explorations of the wilds
