Probably... the best cafe in the world (for walkers & mountaineers!) Muddy boots allowed!
I personally like this cafe very much indeed and a walking trip in this part of Snowdonia isn't complete without a visit
And in the Lake District have a look at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. Good food at a sensible price - nice beer too!
